Campaign of the week

11850, Ireland

It’s a numbers game as 11850 ad goes live

This month's rugby match between Munster and New Zealand had a little extra action included as directory enquiries service 11850 broadcast Irelands first live ad.

The TV spot dominated the full 90-second ad break between the first and second half of the game, and 50% of the content was written during the early stages of the match so was entirely relevant.

Some 16% of the Irish population watched the march on TV , while the action was simulcast on www.RTE.ie and RTE Radio One, reaching tens of thousands more rugby fans.

By grabbing the spotlight across three different mediums with this one-off ad, 11850 ensured it would achieve cut-through in a cluttered market.
